I won a naming competition at my workplace.

We recently added 2 gold fish to our reception area and everyone in the office could come out with their names and then vote for the best name.

So my entry was Sushi & Sashimi…they actually rhyme…and it was initially a joke….but people liked it and voted for it…

How did I come up with the name? Well, I remember when i went to Sydney Aquarium and almost of the Asian people that were there were talking about a fish dish…

Monday was my b’day…and I celebrated it by playing tennis with my dear flatmate. We played singles for an hour. I wasn’t tired at all (maybe I was picking up the balls most of the times)…My forehand still needs some improvement. This is my first time playing tennis in 2009. I need to play more. BTW, one of the strings in my flatmate’s racquet was broken cos I hit a very powerful forehand to her..:p well, maybe her racquet is old too…Thank God, she had a spare racquet…which reminds me of always bringing a spare racquet when i play.

After tennis, I was treated Japanese food…It was so delicious. I ate more than I should, so need to play more tennis next week…

When I got home, I got a surprise: a vase with flowers…Oh, yeah!! I got flowers!! When I saw them, I had a very nice feeling… don’t know why…Why girls like flowers?? They don’t last, they are expensive and they dirty your table when they start fading away…..Too bad, I didn’t take a photo of them when I just got them…

Little Anna gave me today her drawing of flowers with a birthday message in it. I’m so touch!! I will put it on the wall.

Lunch and dinners have been going on from last friday…My last lunch will be with my ex-workmates this monday. Thursday, there was a lunch for me with my current workmates. Nice people, I hope I can be a good witness of Christ to them. Muchas gracias for the lunch and dinners.

I was also suprised by the numbers of messages I get in facebook and gmail. Muchas gracias again!

Muchas gracias to God who gave me a new life in Christ…”Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saves a wretch like me…I was once lost, but now I’m found…Was blind but now I see…”

Other News in This Week:

- Rafa is back in action in Indian Wells and so is Roger, who is becoming father for the first time in Summer of Europe…Roger is not married yet…..so….I’m disappointed…He should get married first!! But what can I expect from a non-believer….These days many celebrities don’t get married anymore!! Someone from work told me that Roger may not believe in marriage….How sad!! They all should be listening to Love, Sex & Marriage by Phillip Jensen and turn back to God!!!

- A friend in BJ, on the other hand, is getting married on 11 of April. I’m so happy for her. I wish I can travel to BJ…but cannot. The first time we met was at St Andrews’ X’mas service many many years ago. She was the only Asian sitting behind me and she was new to Sydney. I introduced her to ABC and she became Christian there. The husband to be is a British guy who will be studying at a bible college in UK later this year. I hope I can go to visit them and attend Wimbledon before Rafa starts running out of battery…hehehe

….”invite jesus to your life”…

The first time I heard about this was last Tues. I could not really understand it ….Did he mean “accept Jesus”?? I find that term really strange cos we never say, when we do 2wtl/evangelism, that you have to “invite Jesus to your life”…

Well, God is the one who initiates the relationship with us cos he predestined us and Grace is a free gift from God….then “invitation” sounds wrong to me..

But apparently in Malaysia & Singapore, people use that a term a lot…

It’s been a long time that I’ve not blogged. Last blog was about Rafa, the new no.1. As at today’s date, he’s still no.1!!!

His Aus victory was a surprise for me. Having played 5+ hours in the semis against Vedasco 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 7-6 (7-2), 6-7 (1-7), 6-4 , Rafa was really tired for the Final against Federer, yet he won in 5 sets: 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 3-6, 6-2. I’m so proud of my Rafa…hehehe But did feel sorry for Fed. I still remember the first time that I saw him play at the Aus Open. He was 17. This is his 5th time at the Aus Open and he won it.

Anyways, changing the topic…I’m babysitting the little Yangs tonite…as usual, they’ve been good….no cryings so far…:) The girls have grown so much!! Heard that Elsie is a lefty, so I must train her to play tennis when she’s 4…:P …Somehow, lefties in tennis are more dangerous players than right-handers. Here is a video about Rafa, a right hander who plays tennis with his left hand: from right to left. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nge5tuWnMk4

What else can I blog apart from tennis?? mmmm…
